In order to ensure simple and safe key management, Tele2 Latvija, with the help of Hansab, installed a new electronic key management system in its Riga office, which can safely store up to 225 door keys.

Electronic key log

Electronic key management not only provides additional security options – keys are located in one place and are protected electronically, but also automates business processes, allowing you to get rid of a physical key log.

The solution consists of a modular security cabinet and a management system. Its main functions are:

  • safely store keys in one place,
  • provide individual access to specific keys (a person can remove only those keys from the cabinet to which the system administrator has granted access),
  • provide reports on the history of the use of keys (who and when they have been taken).

Additional security and remote management

Since the system provides controlled access to each key, the administrator manages the entire system, adding and deleting users as needed. It can be done remotely, at any time and from any place.

Such a solution reduces the daily involvement of personnel in the organization of object access, providing it 24 hours a day, but without losing security and monitoring procedures.
