Access and Security Solutions for Harbours

Hansab designed, developed and constructed an access and security solution for Rohuküla-Heltermaa and Virtsu-Kuivastu harbours in Estonia.

The completed solution established a fully automated loading system for vehicles and pedestrians, the objective of which is speeding up the loading process and thereby serving a greater number of passengers.

The solution is unique in the whole of Europe. In addition to the standard products, the project also included a large number of products such as traffic management, line queue detection, LED and prism displays.

The whole project includes: 3 fully automated parking systems for more than 700 vehicles, barriers, 4 cyclists and 4 pedestrian turnstiles, 18 prism displays, 12 LED-displays, more than 2 km of surface contours for counting vehicles, 4 heating solutions for a glass gallery. In the scope of the same procurement, more than 120 surveillance cameras together with video recording equipment were installed.
